BRIGHTSTAR COMPUTER MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM POLICY

MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

Brightstar Computer (“we” or “us”) operates a loyalty-based membership program under the name Brightstar Member, available exclusively through our official website, brightstarcomp.com. This policy governs the terms and conditions under which individuals may participate in the program. Participation is subject to these Terms and Conditions as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, both of which are incorporated herein by reference. By enrolling in the Brightstar Member program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy. Should you disagree with any of these terms, you are advised not to apply for membership in the program.


ELIGILBILITY & MEMBERSHIP

1.1    The Brightstar Member Program is available exclusively to individuals residing in Malaysia. To be eligible for membership, participants must meet the following criteria:

         1. The program is restricted to customers residing in Malaysia only.
         2. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.

1.2    Each individual is permitted to register only one membership account. Membership is personal, non-transferable, and intended solely for personal use. The benefits and privileges of membership may not be transferred to any other individual or entity.

1.3    By applying for and maintaining a Brightstar membership account, you confirm that all personal information provided is accurate and up-to-date. You are responsible for promptly updating your account with any changes to your personal details.


BRIGHTSTAR COMPUTER REWARDS

2.1    Upon successfully enrolling in the Brightstar Member Program, each new member will receive an initial allocation of 100 reward points as a welcome bonus. Members may accumulate additional points through the completion of qualifying transactions, which may include, but are not limited to:

         1. Purchases made through our online platform at brightstarcomp.com.
         2. Product reviews submitted by members for items they have purchased, subject to approval.

2.2    The allocation of points for qualifying transactions is entirely at our discretion, and we reserve the right to modify the rate at which points are earned. This may include increasing, decreasing, or otherwise adjusting the number of points awarded for specific transactions. Any decisions related to point allocation are final and not subject to dispute, and we are not obligated to provide an explanation for how points are calculated.

2.3    Points accrued through membership are subject to the following conditions:

         1. Points are non-transferable, and not be exchanged for cash, or other forms of value.
         2. Points cannot be sold, transferred, or otherwise assigned to any other individual or entity.

2.4    Points are linked exclusively to the member's account, and no sharing or distribution of points between accounts is permitted.

2.4    Upon the termination or closure of a membership account, any remaining points balance will be forfeited immediately, with no compensation or reimbursement.


ACCOUNT TERMINATION

3.1    Brightstar Computer reserves the right to terminate a membership account under various circumstances, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or inactivity for an extended period. Upon account termination, any accrued points will be immediately canceled, and the member will have no further claim to the points or rewards associated with the program. No compensation or restitution will be provided for canceled points.


MANAGEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

4.1    To ensure the smooth operation and continued improvement of the Brightstar Member Program, we retain the right, at our sole discretion, to manage and modify the program as necessary. This may include, without limitation, the following actions, which may be taken at any time without prior notice to members:

4.2    Points accrued through membership are subject to the following conditions:

         1. Amending or modifying these Terms and Conditions.
         2. Adjusting, suspending, or terminating the calculation and accrual of points.
         3. Recalculating, or adjusting points that have been awarded in error or for fraudulent transactions.
         4. Changing the number of points required for redeeming rewards or offsetting purchases.
         5. Modifying the qualifying transactions eligible for earning points.
         6. Altering the benefits associated with different membership tiers, including requalification criteria.
         7. Changing the validity period for points, including the duration before points expire.

4.3    In addition, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the entire program at any time, without providing members with prior notice or reasons for the suspension or termination. In the event of such actions, members will not be entitled to any compensation or damages for the loss of points, rewards, or privileges.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

5.1    To the maximum extent permitted under applicable laws, Brightstar Computer and its affiliates make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Brightstar Member Program, including but not limited to:

         1. The program is provided on an “as is” and “as available”basis.
         2. Without any guarantees that it will meet the member’s expectations or specific needs.

5.2    We disclaim all warranties, including those of fitness for a particular purpose, and make no representations about the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the program.

5.3    We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from a member’s participation in the program, including but not limited to loss of income, profits, reputation, or goodwill. Additionally, Brightstar Computer shall not be held liable for any claims arising from the following:

         1. Unauthorized use of your membership or points.
         2. Errors in the redemption or use of points due to incorrect account information.
         3. Technical issues beyond our control that impact the member’s ability to earn or redeem points.


PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY

6.1    By registering for the Brightstar Member Program, you will be required to provide personal data necessary for the administration of your account. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, contact details, and transaction history. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that all data provided is accurate and kept up to date. Any changes to your personal information should be communicated to us promptly.

6.2    By providing your personal data, you agree to our Privacy Policy and acknowledge that we may collect, store, and process your data for the purposes of administering the program. This may include sharing your data with third-party service providers located overseas for the purposes of program management, marketing, and data analysis.


LAW

7.1    These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes arising from or relating to them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes or claims arising from your participation in the program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

7.2    By registering for the Brightstar Member Program, you agree to abide by these Terms and any subsequent amendments that may be made to them from time to time.
